150’356 of the Chevrolet National Coupe with their 2.8 litre 4-cylinder engines left the works in Detroit in 1928. Very few have probably survived to the current day and even less found their way across the pond. This example was taken over by the vendor in 1990 and extensively restored and revised over the following years, partly on his own initiative and for his own use, at a cost of almost CHF 80‘000. The engine received new pistons and bearings, the cylinder head was overhauled, the carburettor replaced and a new 12 Volt dynamo was installed. Gearbox, brakes and suspensions received the necessary attention. The coachwork was completely built up and repainted and the interior renewed. Now the beautiful Coupe is in outstanding condition and will be sold to the next enthusiast with the most recent Veteran MOT from October 2023.
