The car was driven locally in Concord, California, until it was exported to the Netherlands.

Bought new by R. Thomas at the Chevrolet dealer in Antioch.
In 1963, R. Thomas sold the Corvette to his mother-in-law, E. Staihman.
We have a receipt from 1979 for an engine, from her neighbours, D.& P. Maich who owned the car at the time.

When they bought the car, the car began to show its age, so they decided to carry out a frame restoration. The restoration ended in 1983, the car was displayed and received a Bloomington Top Flight Award in 1984.
