1993 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z/28 INDY 500 PACE CAR
In 1993, Emerson Fittipaldi took the checkered flag at the Indianapolis 500. The pace car of that race was a 1993 Camaro with special graphics. Chevrolet built 645 replicas of that car for sale to the general public. The pace car replicas were finished in a two-tone black and white paint with pink, turquoise, purple and yellow ribbon decals. The ribbon theme continues inside the car, with the front seats featuring the same pattern. The pace car was only available with a 275 horsepower 5.7-liter V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission. This particular example shows only 849 original miles on the odometer, making this Camaro a time capsule containing the legacy of the 1993 Indy 500. Odometer shows 849 miles. VIN:2G1FP22P2P2111677.
