Description
Unique CATERHAM - CSR-GT from 2013 in excellent condition.
This car for sale is a special version of the Caterham CSR 200.
The basis of this car is a standard 2009 production Caterham chassis, with the 200 hp Cosworth engine version.
This unique model was designed and developed in 2013 by the former Sauber F1 Team designer in Switzerland.
The assembly of this car was entrusted to H. M.C. Helvetic Motor Company.
Modifications to the car are limited to the bodywork and interior, the mechanical parts such as the engine, transmission, gearbox, brakes, steering, exhaust and suspension parts are the same as the original car.
The result is the ultimate car for speed enthusiasts who want a car suitable for everyday use on public roads, aware that the car is also capable for fast laps on the track.
This car offers exciting and highly intuitive driving sensation and combines supercar-level performance with uncompromising handling.
The car's odometer shows a total of 8,365 km.
The sporty and aerodynamic lines of the bodywork highlight the dynamics of this vehicle, even in a standing position.
The harmonious proportions of the volumes reflect visually the balanced mass and the low weight and centre of gravity.
The pronounced wheel arches accentuate the four wheels and the tyres that literally grip the tarmac.
The striking details are inspired from Motorsport, as are the materials used for the panels, a combination of fibre glass reinforced plastic (GRP) and carbon fibre.
The exterior of the car is in very good overall condition.
The ice blue paint shows only the usual and very slight signs of wear. A small crack may show on the front tip of the car but with no impact on the integrity of the part, it is only visible after careful inspection.
All modern LED technology lights, work and show no damage. The wheels are in excellent condition, although the left rear rim has a scratch that is barely noticeable. The tyres do not show any significant wear.
The visible exhaust silencer is in good condition with no rust. All spaces between the panels are straight and show the excellent construction quality of this model.
We are very impressed with the level of detail achieved by the designer and builder of this car. Not a single part of the car is tedious, giving the Seven a distinctive look.
We like the rounded rear window, which we find to be a particularly futuristic touch.
The interior is built around the driver to create a connection with the car and the road.
Just like the bodywork, the interior is entirely custom-made.
The door panels and dashboard are on the same blue colour as the exterior and contrast well with the black bucket seats and carpet.
The futuristic, angular shapes of the exterior are echoed on the dashboard, where the most essential instruments are right in front of the driver: the speedometer and rev counter. The fuel and water temperature gauges are located on the centre console. A red starter button, a metal gear lever and a series of toggle switches complete the sporty look of the interior. Overall, very few signs of wear are visible. The plastic and metal surfaces are scratch-free and very clean.
The seats are undamaged, and the black Alcantara leather is in good condition, as is the carpet. The paint next to the locking mechanism inside the door frame is slightly chipped. Overall, we can conclude that the interior has been well maintained by the owner.
The mechanics of the car are also in good condition, as you would expect from a vehicle with less than 10,000 km.
No components are rusty or appear damaged.
The engine, as well as the engine bay in general, is clean and shows no signs of fluid leakage.
As previously mentioned, the tyres are in good condition. Although very exposed to the elements of weather, neither the chassis, nor the suspension nor the exhaust parts show any traces of rust, which leads us to the conclusion that this car has almost never been driven in the rain.
The vehicle has always received the best care and does not require any intervention before it can be used by the purchaser.
The car is located in Germany, in Kehl.
Sold with Swiss registration document, the original engine booklet, the original warranty booklet, the original owner's manual and EEC mark (European conformity).
All modifications to the car were officially approved by an official dynamic testing centre with a 15-page report and noted on the registration document.
All import taxes and VAT have been paid for the import into Europe, so there is no problem to register it in any European country. This Classic Car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button.
