Vehicle History:
With the introduction of the Vitesse, the Veyron was also available as a roadster with a removable hardtop. The fastest open production sportscar in the world. This car was delivered in the colors of the world record vehicle for streetcars achieved in 2013 by Bugatti, to its first owner in Germany.
At the beginning of May 2010, Ferdinand Piëch announced during a course at the Vienna University of Technology, that a further developed variant of the Veyron with 883 kW (1200 hp) would go into production, soon. This new variant, called the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport with 883 kW (1200 PS), set a new speed record on June 26, 2010 with an average of 431.072 km / h (in one direction even 434.211 km / h). Since then, this car model has once again been considered the fastest production vehicle with road approval.

Mit Einführung des Vitesse gab es den Veyron auch als Roadster mit abnehmbarem Hardtop. Noch heute der schnellste offene Seriensportwagen der Welt. Dieses Exemplar wurde in den Farben des Weltrekordfahrzeugs 2013 an seinen ersten Besitzer in Deutschland erstausgeliefert.
Anfang Mai 2010 kündigte Ferdinand Piëch jedoch während einer Lehrveranstaltung an der TU Wien an, dass in Zukunft eine weiterentwickelte Variante des Veyron mit 883 kW (1200 PS) in Serie gehen werde. Diese neue Variante mit dem Namen Bugatti Veyron Super Sport mit 883 kW (1200 PS) hat am 26. Juni 2010 einen neuen Geschwindigkeitsrekord mit 431 km/h aufgestellt. Dieses Automodell galt seither wieder als das schnellste Serienfahrzeug mit Straßenzulassung.
