1992 BW 850 CSi

Das Topmodell der 1989 präsentierten Baureihe E31 war der 1992 erschienene BMW 850 CSi, der mit einer Stückzahl von nur 1.510 gebauten Exemplaren sehr selten blieb.

Den 12-Zylinder-Saugmotor hatte die M GmbH auf 5,6 Ltr. Hubraum und 380 PS / 280 kW gebracht. Der BMW 850 CSi wurde ausschließlich mit einem 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe und einer mitlenkenden Hinterachse angeboten, die damals umgerechnet etwa 6.000 € Aufpreis kostetet.

Aus dem Stand beschleunigte der 850 CSi in sechs Sekunden auf 100 km/h. In 20 Sekunden sind 200 km/h erreicht. Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit ist bei 250 km/h elektronisch abgeregelt.

Der hier gezeigte Wagen wurde am 26.10.1992 für den deutschen Markt bestellt und in der eleganten Farbkombination Diamantschwarz metallic (Farbcode 181) mit Polsterung in Leder Schwarz/Schwarz (0495) gefertigt.

Ausgeliefert wurde dieser BMW 850 CSi am 30.11.1992 an seinen deutschen Erstbesitzer ins Bergische Land und noch am gleichen Tag auf ihn zugelassen.

1992 BMW 850 CSi

The top model of the E31 series presented in 1989 was the BMW 850 CSi, which appeared in 1992 and remained very rare with only 1.510 units ever built.

The M GmbH had developed the 12-cylinder naturally aspirated engine to a displacement of 5.6 litres and 380 hp / 280 kW. The BMW 850 CSi was offered exclusively with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a co-steering rear axle, which cost the equivalent of around €6,000 extra at the time.

From a standing start the 850 CSi accelerated to 100 km/h in six seconds. It reached 200 km/h in 20 seconds. The top speed was electronically limited to 250 km/h.

The car shown here was ordered for the German market on 26.10.1992 and was produced in the elegant color combination diamond black metallic (color code 181) with upholstery in leather black/black (0495).

This BMW 850 CSi was delivered to its first German owner in the area „Bergisches Land“ on the 30th of November 1992 and registered ton his name on the same day.
