With its "shark nose" face, the BMW E9 3.0 CSI is the sports coupe par excellence of the 70s. The legendary 3.0 CSL nicknamed « Batmobile", thanks to its distinctive aerodynamic kit, marked the history of motorsport and anchored the E9 in legend. The CSI model has the advantage of being equipped with electronic injection and offers more than adequate performance for its time. With its 6-cylinder in-line engine, it is a highly sought-after collector's car for all collectors of vintage cars and BMW enthusiasts.

The model we are offering for sale has a total of just over 46,000 km. Delivered new in Italy in October 1973 to its first owner, it was then purchased by its second and current owner at the end of the 80s, then repatriated to France by the latter in 2006. Our model currently has a "Fjord Ice Blue 037" color. Having been driven very little in recent years, the car is in good general condition. Inside, the leathers were restored some time ago and are in very good condition. The paint and exterior seals have some defects due to their age. Although the mechanics work correctly and the technical inspection is up to date, a good overhaul would be required before getting back on the road. The chassis and running gear also show some wear. A restoration of the car would therefore allow this 3.0 CSI to regain its former shine but also a way of giving it back its original color, namely "Inka orange 022". Any other project is also possible (CSL for example).
