Description
"Drive a modern Formula 1 car around Silverstone and you will be subject to something in the region of 600bhp punching you through the corners with twin turbos then spooling up again and reaching 60mph in 4.5 seconds before pushing on towards 200mph. Impressive figures you’ll agree but add another three seats and the very last word in leather-clad luxury and you are now looking at Bentley’s Continental Flying Spur. These are extraordinary motorcars, extremely well equipped with a six litre, W12 engine and permanent four-wheel drive on the outside with an interior that creates an emotional reach far beyond that of its Teutonic rivals. It is with a sense of occasion whenever one slides behind the steering wheel of a Flying Spur and with the expanse of wood and leather; it is easy to see why.
Exterior body panels are offered up in Moonbeam Silver with a contrasting blue leather interior and chestnut/walnut door cappings and facia option. The seating, as you would expect is fully electric with full heating and cooling options including an electric glass solar sunroof providing power to ventilation fans that evacuate hot air from the interior when the car is parked. The brakes are new as part of its recent service with parts alone costing in excess of £2,000. The service history is extraordinary, less than every 1,000 miles between intervals usually and less than every 250 miles in some instances. Initially with Jack Barclay, then Broughtons in Cheltenham. Needless to say it will come with a new MoT test certificate prior to the sale.
Form an orderly queue."
