The Bentley Continental GT was the first car released by Volkswagen AG after their acquisition of the company in 1998 and was unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, followed by Le Mans, Goodwood Festival of Speed and the annual Bentley Drivers Club meeting at Silverstone. The car differed significantly from the previous Continental R and T models in terms of its concept; although much of the car is hand-assembled, this Bentley was made in significantly larger numbers than previously. As a result, the price at launch was substantially less than the Continental R, thus exposing the car to a much wider and new customer base as a more affordable car. A Continental GTC is equipped with a 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine and produces 603bhp with an impressive top speed of 202mph. Torsen-based permanent four-wheel drive is standard.

This example is beautifully presented in grey with a two-tone black and cream interior, though the colour split is a slightly different take on the norm, instead opting for black as the main hide on the seats and dash top and cream as the secondary hide. This combination gives the benefit of a lighter more spacious feeling cabin with the cream touches but the added practicality of the black main hide, which is of course far easier to maintain. The car has an impressive service record, with all Bentley main dealer servicing in its early life, then various visits to well renowned specialists thereafter. During the present vendor's ownership, the hood has been replaced, a common and costly problem which has been taken care of for the next owner.
