In 1998 the Bentley Arnage was launched, replacing the legendary Bentley Turbo. Built by Bentley Motors in Crewe from 1998 to 2009, the Arnage and its Rolls-Royce counterpart the Silver Seraph were introduced in the Spring of 1998 and were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. The new Arnage was to be powered by a BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered twin-turbo chargers and was designated in the 'Arnage Green Label' and the Seraph was to employ a BMW V12 engine. Due to customer pressure regarding the engine, the far superior 'Arnage Red Label' was launched in October 1999 and the engine reverted back to the iconic Rolls-Royce derived 6.8-litre V8 power plant.
Originally registered on 1st May 2004 this stunning Red Label Mulliner specification Arnage was one of just 25 right hand drive models made in 2004. Boasting just two previous keepers from new it is finished in we think the best colour combination of Peacock Blue over Cotswold hide with burr walnut to the inlays, door capping's which boast marque emblems and picnic tables. Offered with a comprehensive service history with both main dealer and independent Bentley specialist stamps across two service booklets this example was last serviced a little under 1,000 miles ago. Cosseted all its life, the vendor describes this car is stunning inside and out with specification including multifunction heated front seats with memory setting, electric rear seats, sunroof, companion mirrors, satellite navigation, radio with separate six CD player, 12 spoke special order alloy wheels, lamb's wool over rugs, two Bentley umbrellas stowed in boot and a jewel filler cap. Showing 37,143 miles but with a documented odometer change due to pixels in 2006. Kept in a controlled environment when not driven this is a lovely well-kept gentleman's example, viewing is advised to appreciate the quality of a very desirable classic. Consigned by Mathew Priddy
