The Bentley Arnage was launched in 1998 as a replacement for the Bentley Turbo saloon. Built by Bentley Motors in Crewe, England from 1998 to 2009, the Arnage and its Rolls-Royce sibling named the Silver Seraph were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. In 2002, Bentley updated the Red Label as the series two Arnage R.

This elegant looking example was delivered new on 1st October 2003 and is presented in its original and rare colour combination of black coachwork over black leather interior. Featuring a high specification including foot rests, emblems to waistrails, a walnut gear knob, 18 inch six spoke wheels, and a voice activation telephone kit. While the standard features fitted include GPS navigation and parking distance control. Designated and registered new as a Press and Special operations car the Bentley was purchased in 2004 by its first private owner (second keeper on the registration document), fashion icon Tom Ford, where it was used and seen regularly throughout West London. Acquired in 2012 by the most recent private keeper direct from Tom Ford the Arnage R has continued to be looked after where necessary. Offered in good order throughout the coachwork is well presented and retains a deep shine and the alloy wheels are in excellent condition. The interior is also presented very well, the black leather shows few wear marks as too the dashboard, steering wheel and headlining. Reported to run and drive as it should the Bentley was treated to a major service in May of this year and later in June enjoyed extensive maintenance carried out by specialists Michael Hibberd Ltd with the combined cost totalling £6,350! Accompanying the Arnage R is a history file containing the original Bentley wallet and booklets, the service book with various stamps, a copy of the original specification sheet, sundry bills, old Mot records, the previous registration document confirming the previous keeper as Tom Ford, pictures of Tom Ford with the car, the current UK registration document, and an Mot with no advisories valid until 30th June 2025. This well presented example with its interesting history is an opportunity not to be missed. Consigned by Daniel Godin
