"In 1998 the Bentley Arnage was launched, replacing the legendary Bentley Turbo. Built by Bentley Motors in Crewe from 1998 to 2009, the Arnage and its Rolls-Royce counterpart the Silver Seraph were introduced in the Spring of 1998 and were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. The new Arnage was to be powered by a BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered twin-turbo chargers and was designated In the 'Arnage Green Label' and the Seraph was to employ a BMW V12 engine. Due to customer pressure regarding the engine, the far superior 'Arnage Red Label' was launched in October 1999 and the engine reverted back to the iconic Rolls-Royce derived 6.8-litre V8 power plant.
This superb example is presented in silver with cream leather interior and blue piping. Its burr walnut interior is in superb condition as indeed is the leather and headlining. Air conditioning, electric seats and windows etc come as standard in this fabulous saloon and is powered by the mighty 6.8 litre V8 engine which provides more than enough power for touring abroad or here in the UK and has only covered a mere 46,678 from new which surmounts to just over 1900 miles per year and comes with Bentley and Bentley specialist service history.
