AUTOBIANCHI BIANCHINA PANORAMICA (1962), CHASSIS N. 126442, ENGINE: 2 CYLINDER, DISPLACEMENT: 500 CM3, POWER: 22 cv, BODY STYLE: Station Wagon, A SMALL AND ELEGANT CITY WAGON; F.I.V Edoardo Bianchi was a high quality manufacturer based in Milano which produced bicycles, motor cycles, motor cars and commercial vehicles since 1885. Formally this company still exists, as the producer of the most famous Italian bicycles, while the automotive production stopped in the 1950s. Then in 1955 a new factory was built in Desio, near Milano, and a new company formed by Bianchi, Fiat and Pirelli, to build luxury versions of the diminutive Fiat economy cars. The Panoramica had a stretched Fiat 500 floorpan, with a horizontal twin cylinder engine. It was a practical and stylish little car, for those who needed and could afford a second car. This specimen comes from a Milano collection, and before that it was owned by a Lucca restorer. It has never been apart, but just maintained and improved.The vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition but for safety reasons, we advise the purchaser to have it checked over and to replace the fluids, filters and perishable elements.
