Curiosity
The first series, produced from 2000 to 2001, was based on the A4 B5 series. It was only available with an Avant body. The engine was a 2,671 cm³ 90° V6 petrol engine with 5 valves per cylinder developed in collaboration with Cosworth, twin-turbocharged and delivered 381 horsepower and 440 Nm, which pushed the RS4 from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and up to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The second series, based on the B7 series A4, was presented at the 2006 Detroit Motor Show in January and marketed from August.
