Aston Martin V8 Vantage 550 Twin Supercharged, last of the true hand built cars at Newport Pagnel factory in Buckinghamshire.

Launched at the Birmingham British motor show in October 1992. Production starting in 1992 and running to 1999, producing 279 coupes and eight further Short Chassis Volante’s and one Long Wheel Base Volante.

A number of specials were produced from original chassis, also four-door cars and upgrades including the outstanding V600.

This car was an early order by the current owner and built with a number of special request and upgrades, all undertaken by Works Service Special Vehicle Department, prior to delivery.

Chassis number 70069 was ordered on 12 November 1994 in Buckinghamshire Green exterior and Connelly Magnolia leather piped in dark green, with dark green Wilton carpets and left-hand drive UK registered.

The car was then taken to Aston Martin Works Service where an automatic gearbox was fitted; a new center dash was fitted to incorporate a clock (standard fitment after chassis 70100) and the automatic shift lights.

The in car entertainment system was changed and modifications to the front suspension and front spoiler. Extra battery isolator switches fitted.

Stratsones of Mayfair supplied the car on 30 May 1995 to the current owner and has been regularly serviced and maintained by authorized Aston Martin dealers through the car ownership and only covered 16,000 miles to date. Only used for special occasions and touring holidays.

The car is just so striking and a splendid example of the marque as they were in the day. The car has all the original keys, service and handbook, tools and car cover.
