Description

"Launched at the Geneva motor show in 2001 the Aston Martin Vanquish was hailed as “The ultimate Grand Tourer” powered by a DOHC four-valve per cylinder V12 engine producing 460bhp. It could propel the car from 0–60 mph in under five seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 190mph. It was instantly immortalised further by featuring in the 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day.
This Vanquish presents beautifully and has been in the care of our vendor since 2009. The car comes with a raft of invoices and evidence of nine services by a mixture of Aston Martin main agents and specialists. There is a large invoice from 2012 by Aston Martin specialist Desmond J.Smail amounting to £4,469.55 for a service, replacement of various hoses on the cooling system and removing the gearbox for inspection and some minor adjustments to improve the gearchange,  as the gate was found to be too tight between first and second gear, as well as a few other smaller jobs. More recently, in 2015, the car went to Aston Martin Works to have two tyre pressure monitoring valves and sensors replaced.
The cars service history is as follows:
12/05/2003 @ 8,295 miles – Paramount Aston Martin Derby
04/02/2004 @ 15,628 miles – Aston Martin Sales of Mayfair
07/07/2004 @ 21,423 miles – Stratstone Aston Martin London
29/04/2005 @ 24,953 miles – Reg Vardy PLC Aston Martin Tyne and Wear
06/04/2009 @ 33,678 miles – Stratstone Aston Martin Derby
29/03/2010 @ 36,204 miles – Lancaster Aston Martin Cambridge
12/01/2012 @ 38,576 miles – Desmond J.Smail Ltd
08/01/2015 @ 40,343 miles – Aston Martin Works Newport Pagnell
02/02/2021 @ 42,143 miles – Desmond J.Smail
The Aston Martin Vanquish is a design which has aged exceedingly well, now representing extraordinary value for money compared to some of its peers and  now could be the time to buy one of Aston Martin’s ultimate V12 GT cars.
