Story
The Aston Martin V8 Volante Long Wheelbase (LWB), produced between 1997 and 1999, is a landmark in the history of the British marque.
It was the last convertible to be hand-built at the historic Newport Pagnell factory, marking the end of an era of craftsmanship at Aston Martin.
Introduced at the 1997 London Motor Show, the V8 Volante LWB was the successor to the Virage Volante.
It shared its technical base and design with the 1996 V8 coupé, but was distinguished by a wheelbase that was 200 mm longer, offering increased
space for rear passengers and greater boot capacity. This unique model was not sold in North America, but the majority of the 63 produced
were exported outside the UK.
