• 6.0 litre, four seat supercar
The Rapide is a four-door, four-seater, high-performance sports saloon, which Aston Martin introduced in early 2010. It was first presented as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show in 2006 and the production version was shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Rapide name is a reference to the Lagonda Rapide, a four-door, four-seater saloon produced by Lagonda, now a part of Aston Martin. The new Rapide is the company's first four-door fastback saloon since the Lagonda which was discontinued in 1990. It is based on the DB9 and underpinned by the Aston Martin VH platform. The first cars rolled off the production line in May 2010, initially built at a dedicated plant at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria.
This lovely 2011 Rapide is presented in Q Black Storm (with a Cherry flake) over a contrasting Chancellor hide leather interior. Supplied by Aston Martin Park Lane, this example was shipped to Singapore and maintained by Wearnes Automotive who are a multi franchise service centre for Bugatti, Bentley and Aston Martin. Showing approximately 16 service stamps and inspection stamps in the service book which were all by main dealers until an independent service, at purchase, by Praters Automotive in 2023 before returning to a main dealer, Aston Martin Weybridge in July 2023. Offered with a full handbook pack, itemised service sheets from Wearnes Automotive Singapore, build sheet from Aston Martin, two keys and a recent set of new Yokohama tyres all round. A sensational saloon, the 6.0 litre V12 engine never fails to excite, and this is no exception combine with a well-kept cabin that oozes luxury. With comprehensive maintenance records and in stunning condition, this is a wonderful yet practical supercar that turns heads in any environment. Consigned by Mathew Priddy
