Description
Originally supplied in 1961, in the livery of Snow Shadow Grey over Dark Grey hides, this right hand drive DB4 was comprehensively prepared for competition use between 2010 and 2012 by renowned historic racing specialists, Aston Engineering of Derby, England. This rapid and highly competitive DB4 was constructed to FIA Appendix K regulations for use in historic endurance racing.
Campaigned in the 2013 Spa 6 hours endurance race, Silverstone Classic, AMOC Intermarque and Masters Historic races, this extremely well presented and competitive car is eligible for a number of race series to FIA HTP Appendix K regulations, including the Motor Racing Legends pre ’63 GT Sports Car Series, Tour Auto, Spa Classic and Sixties endurance as well as AMOC events. Alternatively, with little modification this potent car would provide a highly competitive entrant for road rally events.
Currently UK road registered, all original components removed during the construction to racing specifications, are available and could be refitted at additional cost. With a reported 340bhp on tap from the race prepared engine, transmission, brakes, suspension and upgraded components, the possibilities for this extremely well prepared and specified competition DB4 are limitless.
