This rare Alfa Romeo coupé is a Swiss delivery and was first registered on the 25th of October 1972. Most probably at the beginning of the 80s the front seats were recovered with black goat leather and the Montreal was repainted in “Marrone metallizzato”. In October 1986 the Alfa was de-registered and added to the collection of a garage owner. Several years later he decided to properly conserve the coupé, which by then had 106’000 kilometres on the clock, and store it. In 2020 finally, the Montreal was liberated and carefully put back into operation. All liquids were replaced, the brake lines were renewed, the fuel tank flushed, and the engine received a set of new spark plugs. Unfortunately, time had shown no mercy, and it was decided to have all corroded areas on the coachwork repaired. During this restoration work the original colour was found and the Montreal received a complete repaint in AR601 Orange. Now the Alfa Romeo presents itself with new sparkle and the interior shows age correct signs of use. The engine and gearbox are working faultlessly and the last Veteran MOT was completed in May 2022.
