SOLD: Alfa Romeo GT Junior 1600 - 'Scalino'

It's easy to understand why the Alfa Romeo GT Junior is loved by so many. Especially an early "Scalino" like the one we have in our showroom ticks all the boxes for most enthusiasts. The design by Giugiaro at Bertone, the sound of the twin cam and the awesome handling make it a very enjoyable car. What makes this example even better is the combination of a limited slip differential and a slightly tuned 1600cc engine.

This Alfa Romeo GT Junior was found by us in Germany, where the previous caretaker was a passionate Italian connoisseur who brought the car from his home country and restored it. While doing so he changed the original red colour into this stunning looking Verde Inglese. He had the engine rebuilt as well as the gearbox and rear axle. The suspension was upgraded with Bilsteins and stopping power increased by fitting 2.0 litre brakes.

We complemented his work with period correct Maifreni wheels and new Pirelli CN36 tires. In our workshop we have carried out a full service and also tuned the engine on the dyno to make sure all is in order. This Alfa Romeo GT is ready to use. This Alfa Bertone is a lot of fun to drive.
