Description
The Giulietta Sprint Veloce debuted at the Turin Motor Show in April 1956. The large use of aluminum panels (doors, hood, trunk lid, frontlights frames, bumpers, doors frames), and plexiglass (sliding windows on the doors, rear and quarter windows), removal of all sound deadening materials, made the new Veloce 70 kg lighter than the standard Giulietta Sprint. The original engine received a higher compression ratio (from 8 to 9 : 1), specific design manifolds, twin choke Weber 40DC03 carburetors, providing 92 bhp at 6.000 rpm (instead 65 bhp of the Sprint).
This gorgeous Giulietta Sprint Veloce (750E), chassis number 03389, body number 77239, engine number 1315*30259, was built in December 1956 and delivered in January 1957 in Casablanca. The car has been thoroughly, professionally restored by Quality Cars in Padova in 2011-2013 and it has covered 4.200 km since.
In 2019 our Giulietta Sprint Veloce entered the Mille Miglia, racing number 352, and successfully completed the race.
The car is road registered in England, it comes with FIVA Identity Card and Registro Mille Miglia Homologation. A great opportunity to buy a stunning example of Giulietta Sprint Veloce Alleggerita ready for participation in many of the most prestigious historic motor sports events.
