Description

Just 99 of the beautiful and rare, four-seater cabriolet version of the Giulia Sprint GT, were produced in right-hand drive. This car was a UK-supplied GTC with coachwork designed and carried out by Superleggera, fitted with Alfa Romeo’s lively 1,570cc all-aluminium, twin-cam inline four.
Beneath the skin, the new Giulia utilised the 105-Series Giulia TI saloon’s all-synchromesh, five-speed manual gearbox, independent front suspension, coil-sprung live rear axle and all round Dunlop disc brakes.
The Sprint GT came with a healthy 106bhp on tap from its 1,570cc version of Alfa Romeo’s all-aluminium twin-cam inline four, breathing through two twin-choke Weber40 DCOE 4 carburettors.
The car presented here is a 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTC, car 07 of those 99 right-hand drive examples, and one of only a handful of the UK cars whose whereabouts are known. First registered on the 24th June 1965, the car underwent a restoration in 2015. The car presents well albeit the car could be brought upto a higher standard with some detailing, which Cariconics Ltd could advise and oversee.
Provenance is limited its original green logbook and a few supporting invoices. It is understood that the car has had some work carried out by Alfaholics and we are awaiting details of the work.
This lovely step nose Alfa is a brokerage sale and therefore we recommend any interested party has the car inspected by a mark specialist.
