Description
Alfa Romeo's post-war incarnation featured the new design of the twin-cam four-cylinder engine, first fitted in the Giulietta in the mid-1950s, which remained in the Giulia until the early 1990s. The elegantly styled 1.3-litre Giulietta Spider, designed by Pininfarina, was a great success, and in 1962 the 1.6-litre Giulia joined the Alfa Romeo range.
The 1.6-litre Giulia's styling remained largely unchanged, but the larger engine - Alfa's traditional twin-cam four-cylinder - increased maximum power from 80 bhp to 92 bhp and top speed to 109 mph. The car was also described as ‘one of the most fun little sports cars’.
This spider was imported in Japan in 2002, from California.
not Veloce but is modified with Twin carburetor, and air funnel. It sounds a little bit wild.
The body is repainted several years ago.
Seats have been reupholstered at some point.
No owner history, we believe 4 or 5 in total. (2 in Japan)
Comes with original wheels and dashboard cover.
