A vehicle you don't see every day, this Alfa Romeo A12 is indeed a very rare sight. Alfa Romeo is not known for its transport purpose vehicles, but actually started this line of vehicles in 1954. 'A' stood for “Autocarro” - light truck. The 12 indicated the load rating of 12 quintali or 1200kg, while being powered by Alfa’s famous 1300cc twin cam engine.

Our particular exaple was used in Italy by a local farmer before it was sold and driven! from Italy to Belgium some 16 years ago. Ever since being in Belgium it was stored in a nice and dry place thus keeping this A12 in a very good shape. As it has been standing still for quite a while, we've restarted the engine, freed-up the brakes and changed all flexible brake lines. The A12 starts, stops and drives and can be used as-is, as a base for restoration of for general marketing purposes.
