We have a very nice 1969 Alfa Romeo 1300GT on offer. The Alfa Romeo Bertone is without doubt an iconic model. This car came to us from its second owner in Viterbo, which is situated about 100 km north of Rome. The car has clocked up less than 104,000 km and is in good condition. The combination of the warm climate, the good care it always has received and low mileage resulted in the car never needing to be fully restored. It has been resprayed and except for a few light blemishes, the paintwork in good condition. The fine bodywork has nice and thin, correctly aligned panelwork. Inside the black vinyl upholstery is in a good state of repair. The same goes for the roof lining and dashboard. As the car received proper maintenance and was regularly used, it drives really well. This little Italian coupé stands on four good Michelin tyres. The bright work is in a fine state. The 1.3 litre 4-cylinder twin-cam engine develops 90 Ps and due to the twin Webers, sound great. The engine is attached to a manual 5-speed gearbox. The engine runs well and the gearbox action is precise. With just a few kilometres behind the wheel, you will readily understand why so many Alfa Romeo enthusiasts are so dedicated to the brand. These are fantastic cars and this particular one brims with character. We note the presence of the 1984 stickers as well as an old booklet containing what appears to be monthly road tax forms. The original car papers have also been preserved. This quite a lovely Alfa Romeo 1300GT is in good shape, ready to simply be driven and enjoyed.
