Following its creation in 1961, the AC Cobra quickly developed a large following due to its signature look, V8 power and soundtrack and racetrack success. This has only grown in the six decades since, however their rarity and rising value has meant that fewer are seen on the road. In an effort to allow fans of the original to experience such a special piece of automotive history, a number of companies began to build recreations of the car using a similar chassis and drivetrain to the original. These cars have become sought after due to offering many of the thrills of the 60s original but at a lower entry point to the market. This outstanding example is powered by a Ford 5.0 Litre V8 with an Edelbrook carburettor and Pan air filter. Finished in Metallic Blue with a Red stripe and Black leather interior trim. Specification highlights include removable hard top, side screens, Aluminium wing mirrors 15” Halibrand wheels with knock off spinners, Five speed gearbox and immobiliser. The interior is complemented by period Smiths dials, waist harnesses and period fire extinguisher.
