Buell for sale
The Buell Motorcycle Company was an American motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1983 by former Harley-Davidson engineer, Erik Buell. The first Buell bike was the RW750. In 1993, Harley-Davidson acquired 49% of Buell and five years later bought another 49%, Erik Buell keeping only a 2% share and a long-term contract. In 2009, Harley-Davidson announced the discontinuation of the Buell motorcycle brand. However, later that year, Buell and Harley-Davidson announced the launch of Erik Buell Racing, an independent company run by the founder. The new company produces street and racing motorcycles.
