French Title
Frame n°41922
- The crazy charm of the Seventies
- The magic of two-stroke engines
- In beautiful original condition
At the beginning of the 1960s, Suzuki launched a pocket rocket, which made the brand famous: the T20. It was followed by a 350 and then a 500. Introduced in 1968, the Suzuki T500 was the first "big" displacement bike from the Hamamatsu-based brand. It was a simple machine fitted with a two-stroke twin that developed 46bhp. While it didn’t have the evil image of a Kawasaki 500, the Suzuki T500 was a very good machine, nonetheless. Reliable, fast, and not very greedy, the T500 remained on sale until 1975. With only 23,300 km on the odometer, this beautiful specimen from 1972 repainted in this superb purple color, is in excellent general condition. The pistons were replaced a year ago during an important maintenance, and it is ready to hit the road and offer you all its potential. totals just 4,619 km. A real rarity.
The auction of this lot will take place on Saturday 19 March 2022.
