SIM (Società Italiana Motori) founded in Milan by some former Motom employees was particularly active in the construction of 4-stroke mopeds; in 1955 they presented an interesting moped called Pegaso. The engine, built in Milan had interesting features such as an aluminum cylinder and cast-iron barrel, parallel valve distribution operated by rods and rocker arms, three-speed gearbox, dry clutch and was credited with 1.7 HP at 5000 rpm._x000D_
