The machine offered here is a special one-off replica of the works MV Agusta Formula 750 racer ridden by Giacomo Agostini at the Imola 200 in 1972. Ago was in touch with the two works Ducatis of eventual winner Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari when he retired from 3rd place with transmission failure. This machine features a handmade frame wrapped around a Japanese four-cylinder engine, while other notable features include a Ceriani front fork; Grimeca front brake calipers; Fontana magnesium rear drum brake; and wire-spoked wheels. The handmade alloy fuel tank and front mudguard, and the glassfibre seat and fairing were all fabricated by Domenico Tavoni in Modena, Italy.
