The now-defunct Italian manufacturer Motobi is closely related to Benelli, originating in 1949 when the eldest of the six Benelli brothers, Giuseppe, left to found his own company: Moto 'B' Pesaro, later Motobi. One of the most popular machines among privateers contesting the Italian championships, this rare Motobi racer is presented in apparently un-restored condition and has been signed by Primo Zanzani, a former racer and talented self-taught engineer who helped make the Motobis formidable competitors in the 125 and 175 classes.
