During the war, some national motorcycle manufacturers were mobilized to produce motorcycles for military use, mainly for reconnaissance and relay tasks. Moto Guzzi designed the Alce model, which served from 1939 to 1945 and was the evolution of the 1932 G.T. 17 model, which was already equipped with an elastic frame. At the end of the conflict, in 1946, the model called Superalce was presented with an engine equipped with overhead valve distribution instead of the previous one with opposed valves and the suspension with the possibility of hardening for riding with a passenger and the controls were also updated by adopting the gear lever with pedal operation and the twist grip accelerator control in place of the classic lever.
Restored, good condition.
A general check is recommended before use.
