Description
c. 1996 KTM LC4 620 Rally
Frame no. 1940213215
Engine no. *00624*
An engineering concern that turned to motorcycle manufacture in the early 1950s, the Austrian firm of KTM, although much smaller than Japanese rivals, has always punched well above its weight in the ultra-competitive spheres of international moto-cross and enduro. Rotax, Sachs and Puch engines powered the company's road bikes before KTM developed its own engines in the early 1970s, starting with its moto-cross range. KTM is also the most successful motorcycle manufacturer in the history of the Dakar Rally, winning this challenging event on no fewer than 19 occasions, most recently this year. This bike is competition prepared and seems to be fitted with a Paris-Dakar-Paris plate although further information is not available.
This bike has been on static display since a number of years and is in need of recommissioning.
Please note this bike does not come with any registration document.
