Description

KAWASAKI ZXR-7 GODIER-GENOUD

French Title
Frame n°ZX750L011470

- Rare original Godier-Genoud preparation
- Very good state of conservation
- Archetypal Japanese sports bike

Kings of endurance racing in the middle of the 1970s, Georges Godier and Alain Genoud continued to exercise their know-how by preparing Kawasakis. In 1994, Kawasaki won the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the third time in a row. Godier-Genoud quickly offered a Replica version of the victorious ZX-R based on a production ZX- R7. A complete paintwork of the body with the name of the main sponsors, a fairing top with a redesigned "double optic", an evocation of the race number, a rear wheel arch and the inevitable Yoshimura silencer as well as a Dynojet kit formed the basis, all essentials of the GG preparation. The bike on offer was sold new in Alsace by Moto Standing in Haguenau headed by Daniel Bruder, ex-workshop manager of Godier Genoud. Its owner, a great motorcycle enthusiast, absolutely wanted to own this legendary motorcycle, and today it is ready to hit the road.

The auction of this lot will take place on Saturday 19 March 2022.
