The Honda CBR 600 was unveiled in 1991 as a sports road and racing bike. This first version, the F, was produced up until 1994 before then being offered again in various different models right through to today. It is powered by a transverse-mounted DOHC four-stroke liquid-cooled 90° V-4 with electric starting and multi-disc clutch. The power output of the CBR 600 was 100 hp. From a structural perspective, it featured a single-cradle steel frame and front suspension with a 37 mm Showa telescopic fork.
