The company Aero Caproni S.p.A. of Trento decided to try its hand at motorbike production and made a serious effort to offer original and cutting-edge technological motorbikes. At the 1953 International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan, the company presented the model called ‘Capriolo Cento50’, equipped with a very special 4-stroke twin-cylinder boxer engine with opposed cylinders and a displacement of 150 cc, defined as the smallest “flat twin” engine of the time._x000D_
This model was also highly original from an aesthetic point of view due to its square-section pressed-metal cradle frame. It remained in production until 1956 and more than 500 units were produced. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
