Description

BULTACO 250 SHERPA T TYPE 10 « SAMMY MILLER »

Unregistered
Frame n°B-1000472
Engine n° B-1000472

- Comprehensive restoration
- Only 1275 units made
- A milestone model

The famous trial and speed racer, Sammy Miller developed this first model with Francisco "Paco" Bulto, the founder of the brand, also a former speed racer. Sammy Miller won all 15 events of the British trials championship in 1964 with the first version of the Sherpa 250, putting an end to the English hegemony in this discipline. The 250 Sherpa went on to see many evolutions, but the Type 10 remained the first successful milestone, and is therefore highly sought after by connoisseurs. Only 1275 units were produced, and this one is the 472nd. A true museum piece, it is still fitted with its radial cylinder head and has benefited from a comprehensive high-quality restoration. Less than 6km have been covered since.

The auction of this lot will take place on Saturday 19 March 2022.
