The company Alpino Motobici Srl of Stradella, in the province of Pavia, was begun by Pietro Trespidi in 1946 with its own production, with an auxiliary engine to be applied to bicycles and, thanks to its innovative solutions, it immediately managed to conquer important market positions despite the fact that competitors were of absolute importance with names such as Cucciolo and Mosquito. After a few years, it took its first motorbike steps by presenting the 48 cc model with a single-cylinder 2-stroke engine and three-speed gearbox. This example was estored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
