AerMacchi, founded by Giulio Macchi in Varese in 1913, was a company involved in the production of aircraft and motorbikes. The two-wheeled products of the Varese-based company stood out particularly for their technical and aesthetic characteristics with truly futuristic models. One of these was the Chimera, designed by Alfredo Bianchi and Count Mario Revelli de Beaumont and presented at the Milan Motorcycle Show in 1955. It was powered by a four-stroke single-cylinder horizontal engine with displacements of 175 cc and 250 cc, combined with a frame with integral fairing and rear single shock absorber housed under the seat. The Chimera 250 was produced in 177 units. A motorbike with a unique design. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
