Lufthansa Private Jet, the flight service which offers customers ‘à la carte mobility’, has become a firm fixture in Lufthansa’s strategy. According to Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales at Lufthansa Passage Airlines, “Our customers particularly appreciate the opportunity of enjoying the exclusive Lufthansa First-Class amenities on the Private Jet service, making their journey even more comfortable.“

More jets will soon be on call, including the imminent addition of the Falcon 2000, which seats up to 10 passengers in comfort. Customers using Lufthansa Private Jet can now also book a limousine transfer to and from the airport at no extra charge. Passengers are picked up from home and driven direct to their Private Jet flight at the airport in Mercedes E and S-Class limousines, driven by specially trained chauffeurs. On landing, the limousine is again waiting alongside the plane.



In 2006, the number of flights operated in this top-end segment of the air travel market rose by 13 per cent – with as many as 10 private aircraft booked daily. The greatest demand, accounting for some 60 per cent of the total, was for connections to around 1000 destinations in Europe and the Russian Federation, but there was also an increase in demand for private jet flights offered in combination with long-haul services through the Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich hubs.



In-flight catering and entertainment are tailored to individual requirements and passengers have full use at any time of First-Class services laid on at the airport by Lufthansa, SWISS or Lufthansa partners.
