Hublot Big Bang Wally:

Hublot Big Bang Wally:

Hublot is the official timekeeper of the Wally Class at regattas, hence the Swiss watchmaker has long worked in partnership with the Monaco-based yacht manufacturer.

Now, however, an exclusive watch has been created to celebrate their shared values – a product using innovative materials, with a design and colours that are strongly evocative of Wally yachts.

Hublot’s relationship with Wally began with a meeting between Luca Bassani and Jean-Claude Biver, the heads of the two companies. Both men have a respect for traditional expertise, yet both also appreciate the avant-garde. Hence the Big Bang model which Hublot has created for Wally – a limited edition of 500 watches – is made from an ultra-light alloy of aluminium and magnesium, with a titanium movement and rubber strap. The case, bezel and dial are all the same colour, with the ‘WALLY’ logo appearing on the counter at 9 o'clock, in black.

Saint-Tropez is the ideal venue for the launch of the new watch – with Biver and Bassani making a joint presentation during the last regattas of the season. The price of the Big Bang Wally is around 22,500 euros. For more details, see www.hublot.com.
