Long-term parking
Who doesn’t love a good barn find? These old Alfas, unearthed by ‘urbexer’ Tim Knifton in a Belgian castle, certainly struck a chord with our followers.
A Greek gift
This Miura was gifted by Aristotle Onassis to rally-driving singer Stamatis Kokotas in the early 1970s. Onassis once said, “After a certain point, money is meaningless.” Faced with a serious restoration, we can’t imagine the owner of this barn-find Lamborghini felt the same way.
Romeo, Romeo
Yes, another Alfa Romeo – but there are no layers of dust and scattered cobwebs to see here. In terms of head-on automotive profiles, we think the TZ2 might be in a league of its own.
G-T-Oh my goodness...
Automotive enthusiasts can be divided into two groups – those who prefer the sultry shape of the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, or those who melt at the sight of the more mature-looking 1964 model. We fit into the latter.
Best of British?
During our visit to JD Classics ahead of the Monaco Historic Grand Prix earlier this, it was almost as though this beautiful Jaguar XK120 had been deliberately positioned for our photographer...
Best of Show
We defy anyone to select a more worthy winner at this year’s Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza than the jaw-dropping Maserati A6GCS, pictured here beside the glistening shore of Lake Como. Does it get much better? We’re not so sure.
Into the Stratosphere
This full-fat Group 4 Lancia Stratos was made to caress the curves of the Col de Turini, or so we daydreamt earlier this year.
Tour of Elegance
To spend a week in the close company of this Ferrari 250 GTO, which was recently returned to its original shade of white, was a real privilege, and certainly something that will stick in our minds for years to come.
True Blue
If there’s one car that our Instagram followers seem to love above all others, it’s the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL ‘Gullwing’. Our only possible explanation can be those doors… just look at them!
First world problems
As far as first world problems go, we think you’ll agree that negotiating a motorway tollbooth with your Lamborghini Miura SV is a good one. If, for whatever reason, you missed Rémi Dargegen’s breathtaking set from the Miura 50th Anniversary Tour, we heartily recommend taking a look.
