There are not many people out there with the same depth of knowledge of the whole gamut of Ferrari history as DK Engineering’s James Cottingham. If you’ve ever been to the Goodwood Revival, you’ll recognise the name. Because when he’s not overseeing in-house restorations of Ferrari 275 GTBs and 250 LMs or sourcing the world’s finest ‘modern classic’ supercars for DK’s global client base, James is likely to be found vying for victory in any one of the number of historic cars he races, from the family Ferrari 500TRC he shares with his father to the Ford GT40 affectionately known by its registration ‘1 MUF’ to the Ferrari 550 GTS Prodrive in which Colin McRae contested Le Mans for the only time in his career. We’re delighted that James will be joining our host J. Philip Rathgen for tonight’s instalment of Classic Driver Live. Topics on the agenda will include his memories of growing up, quite literally, surrounded by Ferraris, the most rewarding Ferraris he’s driven, the current state of the collector car market and his most memorable historic racing anecdotes. Oh, and James will be live from DK’s magnificent farm showrooms, so expect Ferraris. Lots of them. Tune in on our Instagram channel from 7pm CET/6pm BST.
