Among the myriad of cars, motorcycles, automobilia, and parts for sale, filling 21 halls of the Messe Essen exhibition centre, hundreds of thousands of devoted automotive fans will assemble between 5 and 9 April to witness the overwhelming spectacle that is Techno Classica, with a large number of Classic Driver dealers on site, boasting stands teeming with remarkable vehicles to suit every taste. A brief glance at the offerings from the dealers shows Italian icons, including the Ferrari 275 GTS, Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America, and Abarth 750 GT Zagato; Porsche royalty, such as the 993 GT2, 924 Carrera GT, and 356 Carrera GS; and the best of British, in the form of the Aston Martin DB6 Volante, manual Vanquish, and much more. So, should you be looking for a new car for the summer, Essen is a destination you're going to want to visit this week. Coupled with a special exhibition that features a number of racers from the 1957 Monaco Grand Prix, as well as a look back at 135 years of the automobile, we think the 29th Techno Classica has all the ingredients to be the best yet.
