After two days of increasingly vigorous practice sessions, the Saturday of Monterey Car Week saw the long-awaited green flag brought down on a full weekend of on-track battles at Laguna Seca, with the grids comprising some of the most notable historic racing cars in the world. Whether spectators went to see Testa Rossas dice with DB3Ss, a field of Mustang GT350s fight for supremacy, or early BMW M-cars squirrel down the perilous corkscrew, they were treated to an awe-inspiring (and eardrum-troubling) overload of motorsport history’s finest offerings.
