Opening on 9 July at the Cité de L’Automobile in Mulhouse, the home of the legendary Schlumpf Collection, Pop Lamborghini is a bold and colourful homage to the Raging Bulls from Sant’Agata curated by Frédéric Brun. More specifically, the exhibition will trace Lamborghini’s indelible imprint on popular culture over the decades, using flagship models including the Miura from The Italian Job together with rare archive material and creative artworks, all set against a striking scenography inspired by the avant-garde marque’s emblem and its signature triangular design language. From Miles Davis and Pope Francis to the Shah of Iran and Donald Trump, Lamborghini is a marque that has always struck the imagination of prominent personalities. And Brun is no different – although his primary allegiance is with British sports car from the post-War period, the debonair watch and car expert is very well placed to give you a sneak peek of Pop Lamborghini on the next episode of Classic Driver Live. You can catch the conversation live on our Instagram channel from 1900CET/1800BST on 7 July or, alternatively, check back afterwards here to catch up.
