Inspired largely by the event founder Lord Pembroke’s love of the marque, the display will begin with the oldest racing car – Ettore Bugatti’s 1913 Type 18 – and culminate with one of the most recent offerings, the Veyron Pur Sang. Other prominent Bugattis on display will include a 1926 Type 41 Royale, a 1931 Type 54 Grand Prix car, and the prototype Bugatti Type 73 C developed the year Ettore died. In total, at least 16 important Bugattis will be on display, along with, no doubt, a few more in the visitor car park. There will also be a full set of Aston Martin ‘DB’ production cars on display, from DB2 to DB9 (and supplemented by a DB3S).
