5 collector cars to put into your garage this week

January may have felt like the longest month of 2025 already, but the Classic Driver Market has been showing no signs of draught as collector car gems continue to flood in. We’ve brought together five stand out machines for you to drool over…

Enhanced & Evolved

Ask any member of the BMW M brother and sisterhood what the all-time greatest M Car is, and it’s likely the majority will go for what is regarded as the car that laid the foundations for decades of outstanding machines: the E30-generation M3. Built as the ultimate street version of the car that dominated DTM for multiple years, this compact, speedy saloon can seemingly do no wrong, but while later generations of the M3 were treated to CSL versions, the E30 never got the chance, until now.

Known as the 'M3 Enhanced & Evolved by Redux', this British firm enchanced just about every conceivable item on the already impressive M3, stripping the car down entirely, and then seam-welding the shell for greater rigidity. Carbon fibre panels replace the old doors and roof, with enlarged arches on the front and rear, allowing for new 18-inch wheels closely inspired by the period DTM racer, concealing uprated brakes and adjustable coilovers. Everywhere you look on this fresh-faced M3, enhancements and minute changes have been made, with the engine being completely rebuilt to now produce upwards of 300 horsepower, far more than even the Sport Evolution, deemed as the most potent M3 in period! With just 30 cars set to be made, this being the second example ever finished, this is a special opportunity to attain true driving pleasure with all the modern touches!

One for the road

As celebrations of the combustion engine go, Aston Martin truly knocked it out of the stadium with the V12-powered Valour. The idea was a simple one, and its execution was a masterclass in design and performance. Inspired by the timeless designs of legendary Aston Martin race cars of the 1970s, this full carbon-bodied machine is the beast of tomorrow.

This example is finished in a unique shade of Satin Ion Blue, with the blue theme continuing into the Dark Knight-shaded interior. As if the muscular styling wasn’t eye catching enough, this example features vibrant yellow accents on both the inside and out, creating a unique specification that will certainly turn heads!

Understated and Underrated

In recent years, we've seen a steady rise in demand for 1990s and early 2000s Ferraris, culminating in the values of models like the F355, 360 Modena and 550's increasing to eyebrow-raising levels. If you're a little slow to pick up on this trend, you're in luck, as the 348 is perhaps the car that has trailed behind for a while, but is now starting to glow as a more-than-worthy classic of the future.

If we were to specify our own 348 Spider directly from Maranello, this is exactly what it would look like. Gleaming in the unique shade of Canna di Fucile Metallic over Blu Connolly leather, this sophisticated drop-top makes all of the correct noises, as well as looking better and better as the years roll by!

Polizei Porsche

Depending on where you are in the world, the authorities may have a specific vehicle in their inventory designed to catch even the most determined of speed demons. If you were willing to risk your licence in The Netherlands during the 1990s, you may find yourself in hot water with this Porsche 911 Targa filling your rear view mirror.

This 964-generation 911 was used by the Rijkspolitie and has since been treated to a complete engine and gearbox overhaul, as well as the all-important police-specification radio and blue light! As prices of the 964 continue to rocket with no signs of slowing, this eye-catching example is truly a unique proposition!

Surf’s Up!

The trusty Volkswagen Beetle has seen some truly outrageous customisations over its weird and wonderful life span. Whether it’s a rugged mud-hugger or 9-second quarter mile dragster, the Beetle’s simplicity is exactly what makes it so appealing to so many.

This example chooses true jaw-dropping style over speed, and has been customised to become the ultimate beachfront cruiser. Painted in a unique shade of metallic turquoise with a light beige interior, this stripped out buggy is crying out for some colour-matched surfboards hanging out of the rear!
