Immaculate timing. Bentley and master watchmaker Breitling have launched a special, titanium-cased chronometer to celebrate Bentley's recent new world speed record on ice.
Strictly limited to 1000 pieces, the 49mm-diameter watch is COSC certified and its Ebony black dial has red accents – just like the Pillar Box red piping to seats and doors, and contrast stitching to seats, door casings, steering wheel and gearshift paddles on the new Supersports ‘Ice Speed Record’ convertible.
Both car and watch were launched at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
To match its sporty, all-action namesake, the Supersports Light Body watch is equipped with a rubber, rather than crocodile strap. The knurled, bidirectional, ‘Bentley style’ bezel doubles as a circular slide-rule - just the thing for working out that final distance over time calculation and coming to ‘205.48mph (330.695km/h)’, the world record on ice.
